  • Central educational institutes (IITs, NITs, NEET, CUET, etc.)

🎯 Who is Eligible to Apply?

To apply for the Central EWS Certificate, you must fulfill all of the following conditions:

1️⃣ You Must Belong to the General Category

  • This means you are not covered under SC, ST, or OBC categories.

  • If you already benefit from any reservation under SC/ST/OBC, you cannot apply under EWS.

2️⃣ Family Income Should Be Less Than ₹8 Lakh Per Year

  • The total gross annual income of your family should be below ₹8,00,000.

  • This income includes:

    • Salary

    • Business or profession income

    • Agricultural income

3️⃣ Asset Limit Must Not Be Crossed

You are not eligible if you or your family own any of the following:
